This project – for a return schmidt construction client – saw the complete renovation of this beautifully positioned 3 storey house in Cammeray. The project involved stripping back the house to its original bones and then rebuilding using finishes and design that maximised the northern orientation and encouraged the light to fill the house.
The clients green initiatives pushed the project to maximise the buildings thermal capabilities through double glazing, considered insulation throughout, and a large solar array. Splashes of marble and timber veneer softens the large spaces, as curve after curve leads you through the three stories.
A beautiful home but more so a truely enjoyable project that everyone loved being involved in.
