Schmidt Construction was originally briefed to transform the kitchen of this 1990’s penthouse, however the project expanded to the entire apartment when we identified an opportunity to raise the ceilings throughout and enclose a section of the balcony to deliver the increased living area our client desired.

Despite the need for multiple specialist engineers and the craning of materials to site, we reconfigured the apartment to become an elegant and luxurious entertaining and living space in just 3.5 months. The curved, fluted wall in the kitchen is a particular highlight of the classic black, white, brass and marble palette which frames our client’s extensive art collection as well as the surrounding views.
